Lavizan Forest Park Development plan and Tehran Birds Garden are some of the urban and tourism development projects that PEN Civil Department carried out in 2011. The management of Region 4 of Tehran Municipality decided that 80 hectares for Lavizan Park has been set aside for recreation, tourism and cultural activities of which 23 hectares will turn into bird’s garden. Tehran Birds Garden project is the largest bird’s garden in Iran. The project aimed to increase the quantitative and qualitative levels of amenities and improving its status. The client was Manzar Tabiat Sahand Company. Huge cages provided for more than 20,000 birds and about 250 species. Tropical birds also included with a suitable environment.
The underway urban tunnel of Arash-Esfandiar-Niayesh, the first two-story tunnel from the municipality of region 3 of Tehran delegated to Civil Department of PEN.
This project aimed to facilitate the access of the two sides of Modarres Highway between Mirdamad Blvd and Sadr Highway, reduce travel time and traffic as well as fuel and energy consumption. It also provides the access from West Arash Street to East Arash Street by a two-story tunnel under Modarres Highway. It consists of two traffic lanes. The tunnel has entered the eastern Arash by the access ram and has the ability to transfer Modarres traffic, West Arash, Esfandiar and Africa intersections, Esfandiar and Valiasr intersection with Esfandiar 1250 meters in underground tunnel without disturbing surface traffic.
Designing of Sisakht sanitary wastewater treatment plant carried out by PEN in 2017. This project is 6000 square meters, located in Kohgilooye and Boyer Ahmad Province. The goal of this project was to organize the wastewater from the city of Sisakht and transfer it to wastewater treatment plant, reuse or sell it. Integrated Fixed Film Activated Sludge (IFAS) system was selected method for treatment because of high efficiency, no need for returning sludge, low costs of maintenance, easy installation and usage.
Civil Department of PEN Company carried out site selection and designing of Garmsar new landfill site in 2015 for Garmsar Municipality. The purpose of construction of Garmsar new landfill project is solid municipal waste management and disposal of 90 tons per day of municipally waste in the Garmsar, Aradan, Ivanaki and Kohan Diaran cities in Garmsar and Aradan counties, Semnan Province.
Garmsar Landfill is located in 18 km Southeast of Garmsar city. The area of the site is 50 hectares that considered for dispose of solid wastes. It is near to Qom-Garmsar Highway, which is 3.1 km away from the site.
